Best tarp I've ever had. This tarp is amazing!!! By far the best tarp I have ever had! Light weight and actually waterproof. The tie outs are sturdy and in all the right places. I honestly wouldn't change a thing about this tarp. The pattern blends in great with the woods of New England and the 10x7 was sufficient on the diagonal to use over a hammock. I will buy the lighter version in 10x10 next.

Aqua Quest Safari Sil Tarp I was looking for a smaller and lighter weight tarp not as large as a 10' x 10'. I saw this Aqua Quest 7' x 10' and at less than 2 lbs I figured I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed yes it is slightly smaller than 7' x 10' but no problem. I have several other Aqua Quest products and I love them. The only con I have is I would like to see two more tie outs at each end of the tarp. Definitely a recommend.

Perfect lightweight camping tarp Great camping tarp and easy to setup because of many attachment loops.

Very good needs, some light adjustments. I was very pleased to see how many anchor tabs there were including the ones at the end of the ridgeline underneath the top tabs where you could possibly tie clothes drying line from one end of the tarp to the other. I also liked how light the tarp is, the only thing that I found a struggle was not having handle on the bottom of the bag the tarp goes in and that the bag needs to be a little bit bigger for my quick deployment system. My quick deployment system is to stuff the entire tarp into the bag that way it doesn't get creased and wear out faster, the bag barely closes after I stuff the tarp back in making it harder for me to pull the tarp out.

The size is awesome for solo camping Overall its a well made and fairly lightweight tarp. In the supplied sack, the total weight is only 1lb 2oz on my scale. The size is awesome for solo camping. The downsides are that the materirial seems to sag more than poly coated nylon and way more than polyester. The other downside is the lack of reenforcement on the long side tie outs (the corners, top and short sides are reenforced). Pitching the tarp as a mid really stresses the middle, long side loop, but that loop is just sewn into the hem. Overall I am tickled with the tarp. I've already used it about five times and even sheltered through a thunderstorm up in the mountains with it. If it had at least two more reenforcement patches I'd give it five stars.
