Nice and light weight tarp with strong reinforced webbing guy ... Nice and light weight tarp with strong reinforced webbing guy loops and ridge line tie points, I highly recommend if you want to travel light (backpack) and stay dry, then look no further, this is a good one. Thanks Aqua Quest!

Tough but hefty An excellent tarp albeit a little heavier than some. The reason for the weight is largely down to the extra tough fabric they have used. Its pricey compared to others but you get what you pay for. Living in very high humidity environments i have gotten through loads of tarps as they seem to deteriorate quickly and fail at the eyelets. I hold out more hope with this one but if you are a weight weenie trekker then you may struggle to justify its heft!

Good quality Haven't gotten to use this yet but it looks legit and the material seems heavy duty... bit heavy but I would rather pack in a little extra weight and have it last than it be too light and rip apart when I need it most

the build quality of the tarp is excellent. You will pay for this robustness in weight This is a quality piece of gear. I have owned several different brands of tarps and shelters, and the build quality of the tarp is excellent. You will pay for this robustness in weight, so it's not for the long range ultra light crowd but if you've got kids or are not the most gentle with your gear, this might be for you. Personally, I just wanted something with some real estate under it and nice options and all the tabs certainly allow for that. Everything is seam sealed too! Many do not do this. Would buy again.

Great tarp for light camping trips Great tarp for light camping trips. Very versatile and appears heavy duty. I fly it over my bug proof hammock. Perfect combo for me!

My one and only... I bought this tarp over a year ago and I think I have used it at least 30 times. I originally used this tarp without a tent, but it is now in my bugout bag with a tent for a sure all weather kit. More than a few times I was in heavy downpours and ripping wind and this held up very nicely. Totally water proof, durable and a subdued look, which I like. The weight is substantial, especially when combined with a tent and sleeping bag, but if you plan your kit well it is not over the top in weight. The attach points are very strong and have very little wear for being used so much...also there are SOOO many of them it makes this tarp very versatile. So, with a tent I use it as a shaded work area for my bush-craft or a nice place to sit and watch the rain. In extreme conditions I put it over the tent for peace of mind as I always stay dry and I always sleep well in the worst weather with my Aqua-Quest tarp.

Great value for your money I would concur with the previous reviewers comments. If you're into ultra light backpacking look elsewhere but if you are looking for a tarp that, while light, isn't going to fail you then go no further. I bought this tarp to have an item with me that I wouldn't have to worry about failing when the weather got nasty. Yes, I know we all carry repair kits but, I also know that once something fails one constantly worries about the integrity of the item. This tarp will take a lot before it ever needs repairs and I'll take that over ultra light every time. I haven't had a chance to take it to the 'real world' but in all my playing in my yard and in all kinds of weather it has definitely showed its worth. Like I said, if weight is a prime concern then look elsewhere but, for me, that isn't a concern-ruggedness, reliability, and dependability are.

Fantastic Tarp for TNR Feeding Station This tarp has gone beyond my biggest expectations! I needed a covering for our TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) feeding station so the cats would stay dry and protected during mealtimes. The tarp has been very durable for the past year, and the straps have held the tarp in place securely. The only reason I am needing to order another tarp is that one of our TNR cats has loved jumping onto the tarp like a hammock, and then playing "catch the human" while I sit on the bench to feed the cats. :-) I know I could have deterred his behavior, but it's been so much fun playing like that, and I figured it was worth a bit more wear and tear than usual. As a result, there are small pin-prick holes from the cat's claws that are allowing a bit of rain to enter the feeding area, so I have ordered a second tarp today to place on top of the original. If it weren't for my encouraging the "play-on-the-tarp" game, I think the original would be wear-free and last many more years based on its current condition. I'm very grateful to the manufacturers for creating such an excellent product, and to Amazon for making it available!

Recieved this tarp and was blown away by the quality of work...when i buy nylon tarps im worried about the strength of the fabric and stitching...this thing is alot thicker and stronger than my other nylon tarps...heavy...but what i gain in weight i get in strength...taped seams...double stitching....pocket corners...reinforced corners....lashing points everywhere....good stuff man dont hesitate to buy this....good bushcraft and hammock tarp...
